Your Sun is in Scorpio - Sun Sign
Scorpio is the eighth Sign of the Zodiac, and you shouldn't take that lightly. You shouldn't take Scorpios lightly, either. Those born under this Sign are dead serious in their mission to learn about others. There's no fluff or chatter for Scorpios, either: these folks will zero in on the essential questions, gleaning the secrets that lie within. Scorpios concern themselves with beginnings and endings, and are unafraid of either; they also travel in a world that is black and white and has little use for gray. The curiosity of Scorpios is immeasurable, which may be why they are such adept investigators. These folks love to probe and know how to get to the bottom of things. The fact that they have a keen sense of intuition certainly helps.

It's the Scorpion that symbolizes Scorpios, and it's no accident. Much like the Scorpion would rather kill itself than be killed, those born under this Sign are the ones who are in ultimate control of their destiny. It is life on the Scorpion's terms, too, since these folks promote their agenda (they are quite the executives) and see to it that things go forward. Others may find this overbearing (it can be) and even self-destructive, but that's the beauty of the Scorpion: these folks have tremendous regenerative powers, much like the literal Scorpion can lose its tail and promptly grow a new one. Fearless Scorpions rarely lose, per se; they just keep on going, since they are stubborn and determined to succeed (this Scorpio trait is in keeping with the Fixed Quality assigned to this Sign). Scorpios work as hard as they do so they can someday sit back and feel satisfied with themselves. These folks are intense, passionate and filled with desire. They're also complex and secretive, so don't expect to get much out of them, lest they become suspicious and exit stage left. It's best not to bet against Scorpios, either, since these folks are surprisingly resourceful.

Scorpio is ruled by the Planets Mars and Pluto. Mars was the God of War in ancient Roman mythology and is the first (and most ancient) ruler of Scorpio. When Pluto was discovered in the 20th century, it was also assigned to this Sign. Pluto was known as the God of the Underworld in ancient Roman times, so when coupled with Mars, expect some intense energy to head toward Scorpions here on Earth. This planetary combo makes for people who are motivated, penetrating and aware. Scorpions don't miss much, since they are highly attuned to the vibrations of others. They are intuitive, probing and very focused on knowing who's who and what's what. Scorpions can lose their temper (and even become vengeful) when someone gets in their way, so it's best to give them plenty of room. Remember, they're unafraid, and a loss today simply means an opportunity for victory tomorrow.

The Element associated with Scorpio is Water. As opposed to the 'roiling seas' seen in other Water Signs, a better motto for Scorpions would be 'still waters run deep.' Those born under this Sign are as emotional as their waterborne brethren; it's just that they're not as likely to show it. The Scorpio's emotions are repressed, kept under cover. Again, secrets to be used another day. That said, be aware that these folks are clever, perceptive and always in the mix. Their ability to see into things can sometimes be a curse for Scorpions, however, since they can take an insignificant matter and turn it into a huge slight. Beware the Scorpion who feels crossed! These folks can turn vindictive in no time flat. Luckily, once Scorpions catch their breath, they will return to their usual determined and loyal (albeit strong-willed) ways. Finally, while Scorpions aren't above some subtle manipulation to get what they want, they'd much rather take a scientific, even mystical path. The Scorpio-born are powerful and passionate, qualities that serve them well, as long as they don't let them deteriorate into self-indulgence or compulsion.

Scorpios love competition in both work and play, which is why they'll air it out in sports and games. Extreme sports are right up the Scorpion's alley, as is most anything that will test their mettle. They've got to have an adversary, since it makes the game that much more fun. The Scorpion's colors? Powerful red and serious black. When it comes to love, though, Scorpions soften up a bit and are caring and devoted with their lovers, even if they do hold on a bit tight. Scorpions are also lusty in the extreme (how else?), so they need to be mindful of their reproductive organs.

The great strength of the Scorpio-born is in their determination, passion and motivation. Scorpions don't know the word quit, which is why they usually get the job done. A powerhouse? Like no other.

Your Ascendant is in Gemini - Rising Sign
Gemini Rising gives you an adaptable personality and, in general, a wiry, flexible physique. Your airy adaptability to changing circumstances and different people is often so pronounced that your personality and even physical appearance can seem startlingly diverse to different people, and from one time to another. You say what you instinctively know others want to hear. This adaptability can extend to conscious or subconscious imitations of personality traits or the physical appearance of those you admire.

Gemini gives an intellectual orientation, or filter to your life. To others you may often appear interested, but somehow emotionally detached. Physical contacts and mannerisms are quick and restless, and sometimes those rapid movements of yours make it seem as though your mind and body are not connected. You are comfortable doing several things at once, while at the same time appearing not to be paying particular attention to any of them.

Marriage can be difficult for you. For instance, you can be too ready and able to entertain yourself, while your need for more personal freedom can undermine the relationship. In any case you are subject to dual attractions and see no real reason for fidelity, nor indeed do you really expect it from others. Marriage partners, however, may require more passion and personal attention and less independence and intellectual analysis.

Being ruled by Mercury, the mischievous planet of communication, makes you fond of communicating and extremely talkative. Even those with quieter natures are apt to have a great deal of intellectual curiosity. You can absorb a variety of information on all manner of subjects, which you are quite happy to share with anyone willing to listen. You give the impression of mental alertness and understanding, my dear, even though you may not be paying attention or actually know anything about the subject at hand. How deep your real intelligence goes is not determined solely by the Gemini Ascendant. Possessing a wide spectrum of orientations and abilities, you could be an excellent teacher, writer, scholar or researcher, although the flip-side of this is an inclination towards imitation, plagiarism or even being a con artist.

Manually dexterous, you are not just clever with your hands but have significant artistic and design skills. Lungs and hands are the physically vulnerable areas, while respiratory illnesses and injuries to hands and fingers are common.

Your Moon is in Taurus
Even-tempered and peace loving, you are not easily ruffled and are rarely given to emotional displays. You have a calming effect on more high-strung or volatile people, and an emotional steadiness that others find soothing. Though gentle and not easily provoked, you are tremendously stubborn and will resist any change which requires an emotional adjustment, such as changes in your home life or marriage.

You seek security and loyalty in love, are extremely devoted to your loved ones, and provide a warm, nurturing atmosphere for them. However, you tend to cling and seek to keep others from changing.

A great deal of physical affection, closeness, and touching is essential to your well-being, and you have a tendency to overindulge in sensual comforts and pleasures. At times you substitute food for emotional comfort and love.

Your Mercury is in Scorpio - Communication Sign
You have good mental concentration and the ability to become completely immersed in your work. You seem to know things at an instinctive, nonverbal level and prefer learning through direct experience or apprenticeship rather than vicariously via books or lectures. You have mechanical ability and work well with your hands. You could become adept at sculpture, pottery, carpentry, stained glass, or anything that involves doing and making things manually. Biology (and related fields such as medicine) interests you as well. You also have an instinctive rapport with animals, and may feel you relate better to them than to people! You tend to become narrowly focused upon your own specialized interests and may not have much to say or communicate outside that field.

Your Venus is in Scorpio - Love Sign
Those with Venus in Scorpio are the ones most likely to take a mystical, magical ride in the name of love. The fact that these folks are already mysterious serves to enhance the journey. Intense and powerful, those with this placement make for the most passionate and exciting of lovers. A bit naughty? You bet! That Scorpion in the House of Love can inflict a bite, which will linger longer, and a darned sexy one at that. These are individuals who want it all: a connection on an intellectual, spiritual and physical level is the bare minimum. Added to that must be zest, fire and an intensity of epic proportions! With Venus in Scorpio, finding mates is not a problem. What will ensue, however, will be most interesting! Even so, these folks want their relationships to be keepers, valuing as they do a solid connection with a loyal partner. Anything short of this could break this lover's heart in two. That said, those with their Venus in Scorpio will be most blissful with someone who can match their passion and zest step for step. This game of love will be hot, but it's the end game that matters most.

Your Mars is in Leo - Passion Sign
Lucky Mars in Leo! You are overflowing with passion, love of life, and personal magnetism! Your flamboyance and grand nature is rarely matched, and you love the attention you attract. Love is fun, and appreciation of the bigger and better things in life will always be yours. Your energies are often organized and directed. You would make an excellent lover, as it gratifies you to see others enjoying themselves with the same intensity you do. You are creative and playful, and of course, passionate about it all! In matters of the heart, protect yourself from your own ego! It means well, but is so enthusiastic and powerful, it may begin to disrupt you and your partners' domestic bliss! You are willful, so just a little bit of effort will go a long way! You offer generosity to your lovers and are happiest when your love is reciprocated.

Your Jupiter is in Pisces - Lucky Sign
You can find your luck through your compassionate and spiritual nature. You have a definite knack for connecting with others, and you also may have strong psychic ability. Situations where you will be valued include social work, volunteering, counseling and the ministry. In order to attract more good fortune, learn to focus your sensitivity in healthy directions to avoid the need to escape.

Your Saturn is in Aquarius - Karmic Sign
You desperately want to fit in to a group and belong. Unfortunately, you are fated to always set yourself apart and be mistrustful. Social groups do not receive you warmly because of your superior stance. Your karmic path is to feel pulled between a need to belong and for freedom of original thought. The first step towards evolving for you may be as simple as admitting that you feel like an outsider always looking in -- and that deep down you are lonely and unhappy. This may be hard for you to do because you have likely developed an elaborate facade based on the idea that 'being different is cool' and that you are somehow better than everyone else. Or you may be so frustrated trying to function in groups that you have become a follower -- seemingly content to stand back stage. Realize that someone that sees things in a different way can be a valuable contributor to a group -- breaking up the groupthink and making sure everyone's freedoms are respected.

Your Uranus is in Virgo - Rebellion Sign
As an Earth Sign, Virgo is not entirely compatible with erratic Uranus. However, Virgo has a flexibility of its own. When the two come together, they cause quite an uproar on the ground. Those born with this placement are geared toward picking the world apart from the ground up. You may find yourself questioning everything from your toothpaste to the government. The standards and systems by which those around you run their lives might not appeal to you at all. You solve your problem with the intact protocol, however, by developing your own, which usually works better anyway. Virgo is the Sign of service, which makes your generation helpful when it comes to the plights of the rest of the world. Changes you make, however, will be on your own terms -- or not at all.

Your Neptune is in Scorpio - Spiritual Sign
You are part of a 14 year group of people that have very intense psychic sensitivity and imagination. Your age group is very attracted to the strange, weird, and unusual. The sense of the macabre and bizarre is strong, and this is reflected in much of the music, art, and fashions of your age group. Novels and movies with mystery and chilling suspense are also popular with your age group. Emotional depression, drug use, and suicide are likely to be relatively high in your age group. There is also a deep mystical sense, and Eastern religions and meditation are very attractive to your age group.

Your Pluto is in Virgo - Power Sign
The Pluto in Virgo generation is interested in saving the world, and there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to. This group of people, above all, is not afraid to work. In a revolt against the destructively egotistical forces of previous generations, the Pluto in Virgo group may take it upon themselves to start from the ground up and establish a healing process to preserve the Earth for future generations. This generation is neither idealistic nor optimistic. They may feel like their efforts are just a drop in the bucket when it comes to the problems humans face, and they don't expect anyone else to pick up where they left off. This won't stop them, however. They are content with delayed gratification in their own lives and may be happy knowing only that they are doing their best.
